Introduction
The Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX) is a leading biennial event held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and proudly hosted and organised by the Qatar Armed Forces. Its seventh version will be from 16 – 18 March 2020 and will offer a platform for countless possibilities for exhibitors and visitors.
The first DIMDEX exhibition was held in the year 2008, DIMDEX has strongly become one of the world’s dominant exhibitions in the global defense industry. Guest that were the key decision makers, government officials and industry experts came for the world’s maritime defence and security community. The exhibition will provide a wide range of up to date defence products and technologies. DIMDEX will be receiving Middle East Naval Commanders Conference (MENC).
Currently the seventh edition, DIMDEX will connect the world’s maritime defence and security community. It is now firmly established in the international maritime defence and security enterprise calendar and continues to draw in decision makers from all sectors around the world’s defense industry, creating an opportunity to discover the most modern technologies and new industry standards.
Visiting Warships
As this set to be the highly anticipated seventh version of the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibitiion & Conference (DIMDEX), Hamad port, the Middle East’s largest port, will be welcoming incoming warships from, different countries and meeting with the leaders and crew that deal with the modern complexities that protects the global maritime interests. Previously, DIMDEX 2018 has welcomed the following the visiting warships.
